KOLON SPORT 'ANTARCTICA LAB'
Concept : Decomposition and Reassembly, 분해와 재조립
With the support of his team, Heath was involved in the production of motion graphics for 'ANTARTIKA LAB' which is an eco-friendly textile used in Kolon Sports' winter outerwear in their heavy down series, which is part of their brand. "ZERO WASTE CIRCULAR MODEL''. ANTARCTIKA LAB's monomaterial is designed with a single nylon material synthetically derived from fabric and subsidiary materials that is 100% recyclable. The ANTARCTIKA LAB branding was meant to communicate a new way of circulation for clothes that are at the end of their product lives. The design language inspiring this work can be described as “disassembly and reassembly”. The new circular life cycle concept is metaphorically expressed through a storyline in which a sphere symbolizing the monomaterial explodes, decomposes , and is reassembled into clothing fabric for reuse. For delicate 3D simulations such as explosion, smoke, and weaving, we chose to use Hoodies, X-particles, and Cinema 4D.
코오롱 스포츠 대표 헤비 다운 시리즈의 친환경 라인업 ‘안타티카 랩’의 모션그래픽을 제작했습니다. “ZERO WASTE CIRCULAR MODEL”. 안타티카 랩의 모노 머티리얼은 100% 재활용이 용이하도록 원단부터 부자재까지 나일론 하나의 자재로 디자인된 제품입니다. 안타티카 랩은 수명이 다한 옷에 새로운 순환 방식을 제공한다는 의미를 갖고 있습니다. 디자인 언어는 ‘분해와 재조립’입니다. 모노 머티리얼을 상징화한 구가 폭발하며 분해되고, 의류 원단으로 재조립 되는 스토리라인을 통해 새로운 순환방식을 은유적으로 표현했습니다. 폭발, 연기, 직조 등의 섬세한 3D시뮬레이션을 위해 후디니, 엑스파티클, 시네마4D를 적극적으로 사용했습니다.
